WW2 Rolex Oyster Centregraph Canadian Military Watch

This particular model was sold in Canada and other parts of the British Commonwealth, often at PX stores, and they were intended for servicemen and airmen heading to Europe & the Pacific.

These Rolex Oysters were small watches and were produced under a number of names like Royalite, Explorer, Lipton, Victory, Firefly, Raleigh, Shipmate, Skyrocket, Pall Mall,  Recorda and many more.

It has a 24 hour Military dial and it's Rolex production case is stamped with its serial number, inside the case is 15 Jewel  cal 59 movement with early shock resistance.

Gold Plated with a Steel back, the dial, shows some patina but the red 24 hour is clearly visible, there is an engraving on the back which dates this to 1943

Cosmetically overall it's in very good condition and running well although the lock down crown could use some attention as it sometimes won't screw down properly.
