Last updated: 29 October 2026. Vintage Watch Room ("we", "us") sells and repairs vintage watches at vintagewatchroom.com. This page explains what personal information we collect, why, and your rights. We follow UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

What we collect: Order details: your name, delivery and billing address, email address and phone number, and what you bought. Enquiries: anything you send us by email, the site contact forms, Instagram or Facebook. Email sign-ups: your email address when you join our list or tick the email box at checkout. Basic site usage information, such as pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics tools. Card payments are handled by our payment providers. We do not see or store your full card number.

 

Why we use it, and our legal basis: To take, send and support your order, and to deal with repairs, valuations and enquiries (contract). To send you news, new arrivals and offers by email (your consent, only if you sign up or tick the box yourself). To keep records for tax and accounting (legal obligation). To keep the site secure and understand how it is used (legitimate interests).

 

Email marketing: We only email you news and offers if you have agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, or by writing to info@vintagewatchroom.com. We never sell your email address.

 

Who we share it with: Only the companies that help us run the business: Wix (website, store and email tools), payment providers, and delivery companies such as UPS. About half of our orders go to the USA, so delivery details are shared with the carrier for those parcels. These providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

 

How long we keep it: Order and accounting records for as long as the law requires (currently six years). Email list details until you unsubscribe. Enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them.

 

Your rights: You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to or limit how we use it, withdraw consent at any time, and ask for a copy. Write to info@vintagewatchroom.com. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
