Cancellation

You will have 24 Hours after purchase to cancel your order.

Any items that are in transit are unable to be recalled and therefore no cancellation will be accepted 

All sales are final and we will not accept returns.

However, if you feel that an item has been misdescribed or misrepresented on our site then you may return the item for a refund. 
Refunds will only be accepted once contact has been made to the team at Vintage Watch Room by email at info@vintagewatchroom.com Quoting the date of purchase and the model of Watch.

The watch must be in an unworn condition and returned with all original paperwork and packaging. Return postage will be covered by the purchaser and is required to be insured and tracked.

A refund will be issued within 5 working days of the watch being received by the team at the Vintage Watch Room

Guarantee 

We make every attempt to offer genuine vintage watches to our customers.

Please note: as with anything vintage, paperwork isn't always available. Where possible we will offer original documentation, but most watches won’t have any, please be aware of that.

We have described all watches for sale in detail, the idea is that what you see is what you get.

Servicing and Warranty

As we don’t in most cases know the providence or service history of our watches, unless we specify in our description that the Watch was recently serviced. With that in mind we would suggest that any Watch should be serviced by a professional watchmaker. We can do it for you, or your local Watchmaker. 

We are keen to make sure that these watches last and can be passed down to new generations in time.

Vintage Watches give no notice if and when they breakdown, as some of our watch are nearly 100 years old and in a few cases are over a hundred years old in the interests of fairness to both our customers and ourselves we offer the following Guarantee.

All watches bought for £250 or below are guaranteed against breakdown for three months, should the watch breakdown after the warranty period has ended we will repair the watch at what it costs us to repair.

All Watches bought for £250 upwards will be guaranteed against breakdown for six months, should the watch breakdown after the warranty has ended we will repair the watch at what it costs us to repair.

Please contact us at info@vintagewatchroom.com If you have a problem and we will give you details as to where to send the watch, please note the watch must be returned to us insured and tracked and will be returned once repaired in the same manner. 

Our Guarantee is subject to the watch being returned having not been abused in any way, is a mechanical fault and not having had exposure to water or any other kind of  liquid.

Under no circumstances should any vintage Watch be regarded as Waterproof or even Water Resistant, not even Divers Watches! 

Please do not go swimming or take your watch into the bathroom as condensation can get into a movement with devastating effects, We would even  go so far as to suggest you remove your Watch when washing your hands!

Finally, taking into consideration that our oldest watches are over 100 years old and our youngest are around 40 years old and the majority have mechanical movements we strongly recommend that these are not worn as everyday watches, to preserve these vintage watches far into the future, we suggest these be worn sparingly,  special occasions, going out, meetings etc.
