1950's Watches

The 1950's This was the first Cold War era and the Korean War, where if you lived in the USA consumers suddenly found that their standard of living had risen considerably so big ticket purchases were commonplace, the birth of Rock n Roll coincided with extravagant and boldly designed watches from Bulova and other American Brands and Hamilton introduced the Worlds first Electric Watches of which the Ventura, Altair and Pacer were prime examples, the American Watch Industry was at its creative peak, in Europe rationing was being phased out, although standards of living were still modest.

We have a range of Affordable Vintage Watches here that reflect both the exciting and creativeness of the American Watch Brands alongside the stylish and elegant offerings from the now rebuilt Swiss and European Watch Brands.
