A brand we know well, started in Switzerland 125 years ago by the Dreyfus family, Moise Dreyfus set up shop in the UK in 1915, selling imported Trench Watches from offices in Chancery Lane, as the business got more established, the brand became one the UKs most popular watch, during WW2 they were awarded a contract from the War Office to produce watches and this brought them even more popularity. By the end of the century Rotary had become one the UKs' most recognisable brands.
This Watch is a 1950's Gents `Super Sports' it's in very good condition for its age, hardly any scratches visible, the dial shows very little signs of age and the gold numerals are very clear
Inside the case is a 15 Jewel Swiss 440 movement signed with the Rotary Winged Wheel logo.
