This is a gorgeous timepiece, Continental Watch Co were established in 1924 and continued making fine watches till about the 1970's when with the advent of Cheap Japanese Quartz watches arriving on the market, they like many other Swiss brands went out of business.
 
This model is in excellent condition, the case is Yellow Gold Plated with a Steel back, there are only minor scratches visible, the beautiful pattered silver dial is in immaculate condition. 
 
Inside the case is a 25 Jewel Swiss Automatic Movement 
Cosmetically overall this Watch is in excellent condition and running well.
