c.1939 Moeris ATP WW2 Gents Military Watch
The MOD only officially ordered 133,000 watches from various Swiss manufacturers and these were what were affectionally known as Tommy Watches, these predated thr Dirty Dozen by a number of years and were used in the heaviest of the fighting. After the war those that hadn't been lost or destroyed, the MOD tried to destroy however not all were and that makes these watch incredibly collectable now.
This watch is in rather good condition for both its age and it's possible wartime experiences, the case and dial show only relatively small signs of wear.
The Army Trade Pattern Mark (ATP) is very clearly engraved on the back
Cosmetically overall this is in very good condition and running very well
