Illinois Watch in our opinion made some of the finest watches of the 1920's and we are always happy when one comes along. 
c.1928 this White Gold Filled Illinois has a case which is in very good condition for its age, the dial with it's unusually sited sub second dial at the nine position does show some wear but the dial is still clear and readable. 
Inside the case is a 15 Jewel Movement made by and signed by Illinois Watch Co, Springfield. 
 
Truly a beautiful and rare watch, cosmetically overall in good condition and running well
