c.1915 Waltham Offset Winder Trench Watch with Shrapnel Guard
 
An unusual watch in very good condition, the silver ore ( nickel ) case is very clean, as is both the dial and the movement which is signed Waltham Mass.The shrapnel guard was designed by Frank Farr of  Montreal Canada and was patented in the USA in 1916 and the UK in November 1916.
 
Cosmetically overall this is in very good condition and running well
