In the late 1940's early 1950's The Bulova Watch Co were one of the sponsors of the annual Academy Awards Ceremony, all film stars who invited to the award of the 'Oscars' received a Bulova Watch in their `Goody Bag' which they got on the night. This sponsorship went on for a number of years and the `Bulova Academy Awards ' Collection was a Premium range within the Bulova Portfolio.
This particular Gents Dress Watch was made in 1950 and was designated an X prefix as part of the collection. The case is in good condition it's 10k Yellow Gold Filled throughout with no dents or major scratches only superficial scratches commensurate with its age, the dial shows no sign of age and is pretty immaculate, the only thing is the glass which is scratched and needs replacement.
Inside the case is a Bulova 7AC 21 Jewel lever movement and is signed Bulova Watch Co USA 
Cosmetically overall we would consider this to be in good condition but with a new glass in very good condition for its age and is running well.
