Bravingtons were a London based Multlple Jewellery Retailer whose main store was in Orchard Street opposite Selfridges in London's West End.
This cushion shaped chrome plated Watch named Renown was one of their in house brands and this is dated to around 1940.
The front and sides of the case are not in bad condition for its age however the back of the case is poor, see picture. It is conceivable that this watch lived through The Blitz, the dial has seen a bit of wear but the sunburst background is clearly visible as are the numerals.
inside the case is a Swiss made 1050 15 Jewel lever Movement signed Bravingtons Renown.
Cosmetically in fair condition for its age, and running well
