1950's Avalon Watch Co Gents Dress Watch.
 
There isn't masses of info on this Brand other than it appears to be a Boutique Swiss Watch brand who produced very high grade watches and specialising in marketing watches to European markets from the 1920's onwards, they did distribute watches into the US Markets via a distributor. 
This is a 1950's Gents Dress Watch, the case is in Yellow Gold Plate with a Steel back, there are only superficial scratches barely noticeable and the two tone silver dial is immaculate with no signs of wear at all.
Inside the case is a 17 Jewel Swiss Lever Movement signed Avalon Watch Co.
