1970's Minilip Children's Educational watch

This watch was produced in the 1970's to help children learn to read the time.  It has three tracks, the outer track is a 24 hour dial, the inner is 1-12 hours and the third are the minutes on a negative scale and showcase the minutes left till the next full hour.

These watches aren't common at all now, but are very useful to teach kids how to read an analogue dial. The case was originally Gold plated but this has worn down and although the case has few signs of wear in terms of bashes or dings the plating has nearly vanished. The dial however is immaculate.

This is not just a novelty watch it's an educational tool, we find it amazing that these days there are kids out there who can't read an analogue watch or clock.
