1970's Benrus Dual Time Zone Gents Dress Watch

This is only the second one of these watches we've ever seen and they are pretty rare !  So we are delighted to find one and add this to our collection.

Founded in 1921 Benrus was Best known for their 1940's Sky Chief Chronograph and 1950's Dial A Rama range of Jump Hour Watches, by the 1970's the company was owned by Victor Kiam ( he was the guy that liked Remington Shavers so much he bought the company) unfortunately they like so many other American Watch Brands were swimming against the tide of cheap Quartz Watches, this watch was produced during those tumultuous times and very few pictures of this watch exist to our knowledge, we know of one very keen collector who has one on her wrist but that is the only other one we have seen.

The case is gold plated with a steel back and whilst the dial shows a few small marks it's nothing major, inside the case is a 17 Jewel Swiss Lever Movement

Cosmetically Overall this is in very good condition and r
