1950's Mimo ( Girard Perregaux ) Gents Dress Watch 
 
Theres a fallacy or maybe misinformation about Mimo as a brand, it has been said that Mimo was a sub brand for Girard Perregaux, which isn't accurate, the truth is that Mimo Watch Co shared the same owner from all the way back to 1928 when Otto Graef owner of Mimo acquired the majority of shares and only sold the brand in 1992. In fact in some cases the two watch brands produced virtually identical models only their brand name distinguishes them apart. 
Mimo did indeed make very good watches. 
 
We believe this watch dates back to the early 1950's the chrome case has some plate loss from use, the dial however is in excellent condition
Inside the case is a 17 Jewel Swiss Lever Movement signed Mimo Watch Co. 
 
Cosmetically overall this is in good condition and running well
