1940's  Gruen Veri-Thin Pan Am Pilots Watch (recased) 
 
Originally produced during WW2 for Pan Am pilots now seconded and working for the US Military, these were made available to the public after the war. 
 
This watch at some point has been recased. Gold plated case with steel back in good condition ( a few scratches ) the dial is in very good condition.
Inside the case is a 17 Jewel Lever Movement signed Gruen Watch Co.
