1950's Cortebert Mens Oversize Dress Watch
 
A truly lovely looking watch in excellent condition. This incredibly under appreciated brand can trace its roots back to the late 1700's, produced movements for Rolex and IWC, and watches for the Turkish and Italian Railways (the Italian model was branded Perseo thanks to Mussolini ) and it was the Quartz revolution that put an end to further production from this brand. 
 
This particular watch has a gold plated case with a steel back and is in very good condition the dial is a basket weave Guilloche pattern and is in immaculate condition. 
Inside the case is a 17 Jewel Swiss Lever Movement signed Cortebert
