This is an Elgin A11, Elgin being one of the watch brands contracted by the Military to produce this watch, sometimes referred to as the Watch that won the war !
 
The case and dial are in very good condition, which considering that it might have seen action is surprising. Inside the case is a 17 Jewel Elgin Movement
