c.1939 WW2 Rolex Solar Aqua Gents Military Watch 
 
The watch is one of a number of iterations that Rolex produced for the Canadian & commonwealth markets. Issued with names like Royalite, Victory, Firefly, Raleigh, Lipton, Centregraph Shipmate, Skyrocket and Recorda. Available to buy in a few stores and PXs it was popular with Airmen, Sailors and Soldiers prior to their departure to the UK to fight in the war. 
 
All original steel case is in very good condition, the crown is  original, the dial does show a little wear, this Rolex production case is marked on the inside of the case and under the dial, it features a cal 59 Rolex movement
 
Cosmetically overall this in very good condition and running well
