1970's Givenchy By Gruen Ladies Dress Watch

In the late 1960’s to the mid 1970’s a number of French Fashion houses decided to design and retail their own Fashion Watches, whilst the houses of Cardin and Balmain produced their own watches, the houses of Dior and Givenchy decided to work with two American Watch Brands in what were the first brand partnerships of their time, Christian Dior worked with Bulova and Givenchy partnered with the Gruen Watch Co.

Whilst there are still a number of Dior by Bulova Watches around the same cannot be said for Givenchy by Gruen Watches which are fairly rare. This watch is an early 1970’s Givenchy By Gruen Ladies Watch, it has its original strap and is in very good condition for its age, the case is Gold Plated with a steel back, both case and dial are in very good condition.

Inside the case is a 17 Jewel Swiss Lever Movement signed Gruen Watch Co.

Cosmetically overall this is in very good condition and running well
