1940 Miller & Muir Gents Dress Watch 
 
Miller & Muir were a well established prestigious Jewellers and Watchmakers based in Glasgow having opened in the late 1800's. This watch is an own label brand watch. 
 
The case is or was gold plated throughout however the plating on the back of the watch has nearly come of the sides aren't too bad and the front of the is in perfectly good condition. 
 
The case back is engraved with a simple inscription MD to ER and a date 28/9/1940 which would place it smack bang during the height of the Battle Of Britain. If only watches could talk. 
 
Inside the case is a 17 Jewel Swiss Movement 
 
Cosmetically overall in fair to good condition and running well
